Scope of Advice

Mike Bennett is a licensed Financial Adviser under the various Acts governing advisers in New Zealand.

This document should be read in conjunction with ‘Disclosure Statement – Pre Advice’ also found on the Acorn website.

Mike Bennett IS qualified to provide advice on:

  • Life Insurance products – including Life, Permanent Disability, Trauma, Income Protection and Health Insurance.
  • Investment products – including managed funds for lump sums and regular savings.
  • KiwiSaver

Mike Bennett IS NOT qualified to give advice on:

  • Shares or Share trading schemes
  • Cryptocurrencies
  • Mortgages and any lending in general
  • Legal matters including wills and trusts
  • General Insurance – the insurance of possessions and assets. Eg; car house and contents

If, in the course of discussions, comments are made about any matters that Mike is not qualified to give advice on, then those comments will be given with the intention of being general in nature and helpful in intent, but will not constitute advice and can’t be relied on when making financial decisions.
